Gentle- Our Flag Means Death Episode 3 "A Gentleman Pirate"

This week we discuss which characters behave gently with each other in the third episode of Our Flag Means Death. Is Stede truly a "gentle" pirate, or does that title belong to Izzy? We also consider if this episode is really about the paradox of gentility and identity.

For our sacred reading practice we question if Spanish Jackie knows what "gauche" means and how a nose jar can be a valid strategy when running your business.
